Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal life has been horrendously tough. The royal couple has received countless criticisms, and they have also resorted to extreme measures just to earn the public’s respect.

While speaking with Express, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams acknowledged the fact that life must have been difficult for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. He said that what they need most right now is a confidence boost.

“Public life can be horrendously tough. However altered, the job of being a senior royal involves constant appearances in front of the global media,” he said.

Fitzwilliams went on to say that the royal couple would have a huge decision to make in the coming weeks and they need to figure out what they really want to do. If Prince Harry and Markle would decide to relocate, they should also look into the cost of their plans.

“It is a royal goldfish bowl and there is little that can happen to alter that. The fallout from the documentary where they went public with their feelings was far from favorable and has led to leaks from both the Cambridges and Sussexes against each other echoing the problems of the 1990s. It really is important that, in future, everyone pulls together,” Fitzwilliams said.

The royal commentator went on to predict that after Prince Harry and Markle’s six-week stay in the United States, they would return to the country for their official visit. While there, the royal couple would see the huge scale of their global reach.

But Fitzwilliams said that even though the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s coverage in the US are gentler, they will still receive ferocious scrutiny elsewhere. At the end of the day, the nature of their job is really tough, and it cannot be changed overnight.

Fitzwilliams also dubbed the royal couple’s ITV interview as a mistake because it just opened issues that Prince Harry and Markle could no longer avoid.
