Prince Harry is losing his hair as fast as his big brother Prince William.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have just completed their Commonwealth tour after visiting Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga. In their photos, Prince Harry's hair loss is undeniable.

Previously, the bald patch was only centered on his crown, but it now extends across the back of his scalp. According to Dr. Asim Shahmalak, the royal could be bald at 50 if the current rate of his hair loss continues.

"There has been a significant acceleration of his baldness in the last year and Harry is now losing his hair as rapidly as his brother William," the hair transplant expert said (as quoted by Daily Star). "If he does not take action now, he faces suffering from advanced male pattern baldness like his brother in his forties and beyond."

Although Prince Harry is very much happy with his marriage with Meghan Markle, this doesn't help in his hair loss. However, this could be among the reasons why the royal doesn't make any effort to hide his baldness.

"While marital happiness does not bring about any hormonal changes which would affect hair loss research shows that men in settled relationships tend to do less to disguise their baldness," Shahmalak continued. "It reflects nature and the need to find a lover. Once that goal is achieved there is slightly less incentive to cover up hair loss."

The expert offers some tips to mask the onset of hair loss. Shahmalak advised using hair thickeners. Wayne Rooney is using this for years during big games to make his hair look thicker.

In addition, one can also dye his hair with a darker color just like what David Beckham did recently in Hong Kong. This will give one an impression of thicker hair.

Shahmalak noted that Prince Harry hasn't tried any of the aforementioned and credited this to his happy marriage. "He clearly has a wife in Meghan who loves him no matter what the state of his hair," he explained.

"However, the only long-term solution to the hair loss that Prince Harry is suffering from is a hair transplant," the expert added.

Shahmalak also noted that Prince Harry may have grown his beard to "compensate for the hair loss on his scalp." "It is very common for men who are thinning on top to grow a beard," he said. "It does detract a little for the hair loss in the scalp."

Prince Harry and Marke are expected to join Prince William and Kate Middleton over the weekend. The fab four are set to attend three Remembrance engagements together.
