Prince Harry is unlikely to be a godparent of Kate Middleton and Prince William's third child, according to a royal expert.

Richard Fitzwilliams recently shared his predictions as to who the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be picking as godparents for their upcoming bundle of joy. And Fitzwilliams didn't mention Prince Harry and Pippa Middleton as potential godparents for royal baby no. 3. "It is possible Beatrice or Eugenie might be a godparent to the new baby," Fitzwilliams told Express, referring to the two Princesses of York.

The royal expert added that this might be a surprise, however, since the two royals were not invited to Princess Charlotte's christening. In addition, he said that Middleton and Prince William's "emphasis could be firmly be on their close friends."

According to the publication, Prince William and Middleton broke a royal tradition when they chose friends and family members to be their second child Princess Charlotte's godparents. British royals usually make the baby's uncle their godfather, which supposedly entitles Prince Harry to be a godparent to his nephews and nieces. In fact, Prince Harry's godparents includes his uncle, Prince Andrew. But Meghan Markle's boyfriend is not among the godparents of Middleton and Prince William's older children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Prince George's godparents include high-profile personalities like the duke's cousin, Zara Tindall, and their close friends Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, Oliver Baker, Emilia Jardine-Paterson, Earl Grosvenor, Julia Samuel and William van Cutsem. Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte's list of godparents does not include a member of the royal family, but Princess Diana's niece, Laura Fellowes, is one of them. Aside from Fellowes, the list includes Middleton's cousin, Adam Middleton, and the couple's closest friends Thomas van Straubenzee, James Meade, and Sophie Carter.

In related news, Middleton is reportedly recovering from hyperemesis gravidarum or severe morning sickness and is in a much better condition. The same illness plagued her during her first and second pregnancies with Prince George and Princess Charlotte. According to her family, the worst of her condition is already behind them. "She has such a rotten time during this early month," a source told E! News. "But she's out of the woods now and doing well."

Middleton seems to be well enough to get back to her royal duties. In fact, she is set to host a reception for Mental Health Day on Tuesday at the Kensington Palace. The event is a celebration of the contributions of those who are working in the mental health sector across the UK. Middleton will be joined by her husband, Prince William, and brother-in-law, Prince Harry, for the event. The three are advocates of mental health.

Middleton's new right-hand woman, Catherine Quinn, is already hard at work for the upcoming event as it will be the Duchess of Cambridge's first public appearance following the confirmation of her third pregnancy.
