Prince Harry’s body language around his wife, Meghan Markle, has changed ever since it was announced that they are expecting their first child together.

Lisa Mitchell, a body language expert, claimed that Prince Harry has become more protective of his wife and this has become evident with the way he walks ahead of her in public.

“He’s in front of her with his arm overlapping her torso in almost every picture of them walking, showing that he’s there to support her and be a protective barrier between her and others if she needs him to be,” Mitchell said (via Express).

Mitchell also noted how Prince Harry and Markle always hold hands in public. If they are not holding hands, Markle is always seen touching her husband’s arm or back.

“They are either holding hands while they walk or Meghan has at least one hand on Harry in every picture of just the two of them, indicating that they are really feeling connected and close during this exciting time,” she said.

In related news, body language expert Judi James commented on Markle’s new habit of caressing her baby bump in public. The Duchess of Sussex is about 4 months pregnant, and she is expected to give birth sometime in the spring of 2019.

“When she stands alone, she tends to cradle her bump with two hands, which is an even more tender gesture of both pride and affection. It suggests she’ll be a very tactile and hands-on new mother when the baby is born. When she’s not bump-holding, her pregnancy is barely visible, so these gestures also suggest her levels of excitement and impatience to have their first child,” James explained.

Markle and Prince Harry tied the knot on May 19 and it only took the “Suits” alum one to two months to conceive. There are speculations suggesting that the couple conceived their baby last summer during their five-day vacation at Queen Mother’s Castle of Mey in Scotland.
