Prince Harry did not seem on board with some of his wife Meghan Markle's comments and actions in their new Netflix docuseries but "didn't have the guts" to say anything about it, his biographer has claimed.

Weighing in on the first volume of "Harry & Meghan," royal expert Angela Levin told host Nana Akua on GB News' "Royal Round-Up" that Prince Harry looked "horrified" when Markle was discussing her first meeting with Queen Elizabeth II in the docuseries.

In one episode of the show, Markle joked about having to curtsy to Prince Harry's grandmother shortly after they began dating in 2016. The Duchess of Sussex compared the protocol to "Medieval Times, Dinner and Tournament," before poking fun at her over-the-top way of showing respect to the Queen at the time.

Markle performed an exaggerated bow from the couch where she sat next to Prince Harry and said, "Pleasure to meet you, Your Majesty."

The scene sparked backlash online, with some royal fans accusing Markle of mocking the Queen and criticizing Prince Harry for only smiling in response to his wife's comments and actions.

Levin, who accompanied Prince Harry on many of his engagements to write his 2018 biography "Harry: A Biography of a Prince," claimed that the Duke of Sussex's reaction showed that he was under Markle's "control." International Business Times could not independently verify Levin's claims.

"When she did that phony curtsy and then with the squeaky voice said, 'I'm so pleased to see you, Your Majesty,' you know, [Harry] looked horrified," the royal expert claimed. "But he didn't have the guts to say something about it. Even on air, he could have done it quite nicely and said, 'Leave my grandmother alone.'"

Levin further claimed that the moment showed "how much he's under her spell and under her control and that he doesn't actually dare say something about his grandmother, who he loved so much, who he flew to see that she was being looked after properly. None of that came through. He just accepted it because what Meghan says, Meghan's always right."

Levin, who previously said she interviewed Prince Harry while she was working on his biography in 2017, also claimed that the Duke of Sussex is a completely different person now from the man she knew.

She alleged that "there's almost nothing that you can see similar" as she reflected on the prince's alleged changes over the years.

Levin's comments came as Netflix dropped a new trailer for the second part of Prince Harry and Markle's docuseries, which airs this week.

In the teaser, the couple shared more details about their decision to step back from their roles as senior working royals.

Prince Harry revealed that he was the one who decided they needed to "get out" of royal life.

He also addressed the way the palace handled stories about his brother Prince William versus him.

"They were happy to lie to protect my brother," Prince Harry claimed, seemingly referring to the palace and its communications team. "They were never willing to tell the truth to protect us."

"Harry & Meghan" debuted last week with three episodes. Three more episodes will be released Thursday.
