The heavily-rumored “Prince of Persia Sands Of Time Remake” might make its appearance next week at the Ubisoft Forward event, according to a new report. Over the past months, multiple leaks and rumors surfaced online claiming that a new “Prince of Persia” title could release soon. Interestingly, Ubisoft has not yet confirmed if a remake, a remaster, or a new title is really coming.

Despite the official confirmation from Ubisoft that a remake or a remaster of “Prince of Persia Sands of Time” is in the works, fans are optimistic that one might be announced very soon. In fact, Capcom insider Okabe shared a new set of information about the rumored title on ResetEra forums. The insider shared a cryptic post that could be hinting about the possible game’s announcement at the upcoming Ubisoft Forward event.

A few weeks ago, the insider also teased that the rumored “Prince of Persia Sands of Time” could be more than just a remaster or a remake. “Sands of Time” is one of the most popular installments in the series and a lot of fans would be delighted if Ubisoft has a new “Prince of Persia” title on the way.

Meanwhile, Ubisoft earlier confirmed that a second Ubisoft Forward event is happening a few days from now. The French game publisher announced that the next event would start at 12pm PT / 3pm ET / 8pm BST on September 10. Based on its announcement trailer, the event would showcase big news and new titles.

This seemingly hinted that the “Prince of Persia Sands of Time” remake could be announced. Other titles anticipated to make appearances at the said event includes “Hyper Scape” and “Watch Dogs Legion.” There might be news about “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla” too.

It is safe to assume that the upcoming Ubisoft Forward event would center on other big names that the industry does not know much about. Fans might hear new details about “Beyond Good & Evil 2,” “Immortals: Fenyx Rising,” “Rainbow Six: Quarantine” and “Skull & Bones.” As to whether Ubisoft would announce a new “Splinter Cell” game at the event is highly unlikely.
