Prince Philip previously directed a flirty comment towards Queen Elizabeth II. Upon hearing the remark, Her Majesty couldn’t help but blush.

In the Channel 5 documentary “Secrets of Royal Dressmakers,” royal author Ingrid Seward detailed one incident wherein the Duke of Edinburgh saw the Queen’s dressmaker doing the hem on her dress. Prince Philip told his wife that his dress looks nice, and Her Majesty flushed scarlet.

“I always remember him telling me that story. She was just so thrilled to get the compliment from her husband,” Seward said.

On another occasion, Prince Philip once again displayed his flirty demeanor when he commented on his wife’s skin. In an article that he wrote for Daily Mirror, royal correspondent James Whitaker detailed the conversation between the Duke of Edinburgh and his cousin, Patricia Mountbatten.

“When Philip's cousin Patricia Mountbatten remarked on Elizabeth's flawless complexion, the Prince joked: 'Yes, and she's like that all over,” Whitaker said.

Meanwhile, The Sun claimed that even though Prince Philip has always been a devoted husband to the Queen, his monogamy has oftentimes been the subject of speculation. Even though there is no proof that he was ever unfaithful to the monarch, it also cannot be denied that Prince Philip had a way around attractive women.

According to former press secretary Dickie Arbiter, Prince Philip’s fondness for attractive women may be likened to him window shopping: he also looks but doesn’t buy. He was previously linked to Osla Benning, Sandra Jacques, Sue Other-Gee, and Georgina Kennard.

And while the Queen was 8 months pregnant with Prince Charles, the Duke of Edinburgh embarked on a bender with actress Pat Kirkwood. Prince Philip reportedly crashed drunkenly into Kirkwood’s dressing room with his friend.

The dad of four also drove the actress to a Mayfair restaurant in his sports car, and they almost got into an accident. They were also photographed dancing cheek to cheek at a nightclub. However, Kirkwood denied that she and Prince Philip ever had an affair.
