Prince Philip and Sarah Ferguson are willing to work together to celebrate Princess Eugenie's royal wedding.

The Duke of Edinburgh and the Duchess of York are reportedly still not on good terms because the former has not forgiven the latter for her "toegate" scandal. However, Charlie Moloney, a journalist for Express, has claimed that they are willing to "bury the hatchet" for the next royal bride who is dear to them.

Prince Philip will reportedly appear in the official family photos for Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's royal wedding. Ferguson, the mom of the bride, is expected to be present too.

Initially, many were concerned that Prince Philip and Ferguson's rift would cause family friction at Princess Eugenie's royal wedding. In August, the two were caught in a sticky situation when they both visited Queen Elizabeth II in Balmoral.

Ferguson arrived with Prince Andrew and Princess Beatrice. However, she reportedly made sure to leave the estate before the Duke of Edinburgh arrived.

"I'm told that Prince Philip was at pains not to bump into the Duchess of York, 58, when she visited the Queen at Balmoral last week," Katie Hind of Daily Mail wrote. "I am told that she has still not been forgiven by her former father-in-law for the infamous ‘toegate’ scandal of 1992. Fergie, who at the time was still married to Prince Andrew, was pictured on a sun lounger having her toes sucked by 'financial adviser' John Bryan."

According to Allan Starkie, Ferguson had a rocky relationship with Prince Philip and Princess Anne even before she and Prince Andrew divorced. In fact, the person she was most afraid of in the royal family was the Prince of Edinburgh.

"Earlier on in the marriage, he had told her 'now you're a member of the firm you can do anything you want, but you'll always be found out," Starkie said in an unearthed clip of "Fergie: Downfall of the Duchess."

In addition, Princess Anne called Ferguson an "outsider" that resulted in a conflict between the Royal Princess and Duke of York. Prince Andrew reportedly demanded that Princess Anne apologize to Ferguson and since then there was a "very, very frosty relationship between Fergie and Anne."
