It doesn’t take much to shock or surprise the members of the royal family because they are just like everyone else.

Just recently, Hello! magazine compiled a series of photos of the British royal family looking shocked as ever due to a number of different reasons.

Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Prince Edward watched a hockey match between Wales and Scotland in 2014. A photo of the trio showed them with their mouths open and visibly enthralled by the sporting action.

In 2015, Middleton’s jaw dropped as she arrived at London’s Ealing Studious to meet the cast of the hit ITV drama “Downton Abbey.” The Duchess of Cambridge, who was pregnant with Princess Charlotte, at that time, was surprised to see how small the sets are on the location.

“The sets are so much smaller than you imagine – especially when you’ve got all the crew in here as well!” she said.

Several years ago, Princess Diana was also photographed looking surprised as ever after stalling her new red Mini Metro outside her flat in Earl’s Court. At that time, Princess Diana just left her job as a nursery teacher in Pimlico and rumors were ripe that she was dating Prince Charles.

Last year, Meghan Markle also sported a shocked look on her face when she arrived at the Nelson Mandela Centenary Exhibition at the Southbank Center. It is unclear why Markle looked surprised at that time but it’s possible that it’s because of the massive crowd that was waiting for her outside.

In 2012, Camilla Parker Bowles was photographed in her surprised and hilarious face while watching a horse race at Ladies Day at Cheltenham Horse Racing Festival. At that time, the Duchess of Cornwall was wearing a teal sweater and printed blouse.

And in 2015, Camilla and Prince Charles were both astonished when they met the mascot of Army Air Corps, Zephyr the eagle, at the Sandringham Flower Show.
