Prince William and Kate Middleton's relationship is going strong, and the couple is just as playful and affectionate as they were before they got married nearly a decade ago.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge proved once again why they are relationship goals during their two-day trip to Northern Ireland. The couple paid a visit to the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park where they were invited to participate in a game of soccer. The two didn't waste time getting competitive with each other, but they also sneakily showed off some public displays of affection throughout the match.

In photos from their game, Middleton had her hand on her husband's back at one point, while Prince William put his hand on her arm. Another snap showed Middleton cozying up to Prince William during the game.

The parents of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis were in high spirits as they played with young schoolchildren. Prince William also kept teasing his wife, jokingly telling the children, "Look out, she goes for the ankles." He also playfully told everyone to "tackle" his wife at one point, according to The Telegraph.

Middleton also shared a funny anecdote about their eldest son and future heir to the throne, Prince George, who is apparently learning how to play soccer. The gorgeous duchess candidly told the kids that Prince George thinks her soccer skills are "so rubbish."

"I should have picked up some tips from George," she added.

The kids who participated in the game with Middleton and Prince William are members of the Irish Football Association (IFA) "Shooting Stars" program, according to Kensington Palace. The group encourages young girls to learn how to play soccer.

Meanwhile, Middleton and Prince William rarely show PDA during official engagements unlike Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle. However, the duke and duchess, who tied the knot in a lavish royal wedding in 2011, do have their sweet moments from time to time, such as during Princess Eugenie's wedding last year.

During Princess Eugenie's nuptials, Middleton and Prince William held hands as they sat in their seats. The duchess also kept her hand on Prince William's leg while she chatted with Prince Harry during the ceremony.
