Princess Beatrice has revealed the name of her baby girl, and it includes a sweet tribute to her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew's eldest daughter welcomed her first child with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi last month. On Friday, the couple revealed that they have chosen the name Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi for their daughter.

"We are all doing well and Wolfie is the best big brother to Sienna," Princess Beatrice, 33, wrote on Twitter alongside a photo of their little one's footprint.

Princess Beatrice's husband also made the name announcement on his Instagram account. The property developer, 38, wrote a touching note in which he expressed his gratitude to those who helped them welcome their daughter.

"Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi. Our life together has just begun, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things that await us," Mapelli Mozzi wrote. "Feeling so much love and gratitude for my amazing wife, baby Sienna and Wolfie. These are the days I never want to forget. This week, a friend said to me the sweetest saying...that with every child you grow a whole new heart."

He added, "A massive thank you to the Midwife and the amazing team at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital."

Princess Beatrice and Mapelli Mozzi welcomed their first child together on Sept. 18. She delivered her baby at London's Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

"The new baby's grandparents and great-grandparents have all been informed and are delighted with the news. The family would like to thank all the staff at the hospital for their wonderful care," Buckingham Palace said in a statement at the time, according to People.

Their daughter will also have a royal title as her father descends from Italian aristocracy. Princess Beatrice became an Italian "contessa" and "nobile donna," or noble woman, when she married Mapelli Mozzi in July last year.

The princess' husband's father is Count Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi, and as his oldest son, Edoardo will inherit the family's ancestral seat, the 18th-century Villa Mapelli Mozzi palace in northern Italy.

"Edoardo is the only male descendent taking the family into the next generation," his father previously told The Daily Mail. "He is a count — his wife will be a countess automatically and any of their children will be counts or nobile donna."

Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice is not the first royal to honor Queen Elizabeth by naming their children after the monarch. Her cousin Prince William's daughter is named Charlotte Elizabeth. Siblings Zara Tindall and Peter Phillips also gave their daughters the middle name Elizabeth, People noted.

In June, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced that they named their daughter Lilibet "Lili" Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, paying tribute to not only the monarch but also the late Princess Diana. "Lilibet" is the Queen's childhood nickname.

"Lili is named after her great-grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen, whose family nickname is Lilibet," the couple said in their announcement. "Her middle name, Diana, was chosen to honor her beloved late grandmother, The Princess of Wales."
