Princess Eugenie is taking a big risk on her upcoming royal wedding.

Princess Eugenie will be tying the knot with her long-time boyfriend Jack Brooksbank in October. Their wedding reception will be held at Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's shared home, the Royal Lodge in Windsor. Her parents are reportedly working together to plan the reception.

"Sarah and Andrew are helping to organize the evening party," a source said. "The plan is for a marquee to be set up in the grounds and dancing late into the night."

However, according to Emily Hodgkin, a journalist for Daily Express, having a marquee is a big risk for Princess Eugenie as October is one of the rainiest months. Hodgkin noted that marquees are a budget option for many Britons who wanted a stately feel closer to home for their reception. For Princess Eugenie's big day, the wedding guests will head to a marquee in the back garden of the Duke and Duchess of York's enormous property.

Ferguson is very hands-on when it comes to Princess Eugenie's royal wedding. The duchess is expected to have various roles in the upcoming event.

"Sarah is being very hands-on, but in a great way, and Eugenie wants her mum to be a big part of it all and will make sure Sarah is included in every aspect," the insider added. "Sarah is bringing a very eclectic and exciting guest list to Windsor."

Ferguson will have the honor to sit at the parents' table. She is also expected to greet the guests. That's not all, Princess Eugenie's parents also dance together.

Ferguson's involvement in Princess Eugenie's big day was expected. In fact, according to royal butler Grant Harrold, the Duchess of York will be "on hand."

"I am sure that as with all mothers of the bride, Sarah Duchess of York will be assisting her daughter with all aspects of the wedding especially when it comes to picking the wedding dress," Harrold said. "This is an important time for any bride and I have no doubt Princess Eugenie will be getting guidance from her mother while planning this special day."
