Priyanka Chopra revealed that she and her husband, singer Nick Jonas have matching tattoos and talked about the story behind them.

The 40-year-old Indian actress disclosed that she has a check and a box tattoo made behind her ears while the 30-year-old singer has a similar tattoo on his arms. She further explained the reason for making this tattoo.

"I have a check and a box behind my ears," she told British Vogue Wednesday. "My husband has them on his arms because when he proposed, he asked me, that I checked all his boxes, and would I check another one?"

While Chopra didn't show the tattoo during the interview, she did praise her husband for being thoughtful.

"My husband is super thoughtful," she said. "When he's around, everything feels like it'll be okay. He has taught me to approach things from a much calmer place."

Jonas and Chopra got married in December 2018 after they first started talking on Twitter. The singer revealed earlier this month how he proposed to Chopra, the day after her birthday.

"I wanted to propose like, the day after her birthday -- birthday was on the 18th, I proposed on the 19th, but I just did it at basically, midnight to make it two separate days," Jonas said. "At that point, we'd had a bottle of wine, so I was a little loose and I was feeling -- feeling good."

The couple welcomed their daughter Malti via surrogacy in January last year. On the occasion of Mother's Day, the actress shared a family photo featuring herself holding the little bundle of joy and Jonas looking at the baby girl.

Considering Chopra's upcoming projects, the actress will be seen in the TV series, "Citadel" and will also feature in a film, titled "Sheela." She will also appear in the movies "Ending Things," "It's All Coming Back to Me," "Jee Le Zaraa," and "Cowboy Ninja Viking."

Jonas, on the other hand, will be next seen in the movie, "Jersey Boys Live!" where he will play Frankie Valli's character. The movie is helmed by director Des McAnuff.
