In chapter 181, the family is looking for Emma for close to two years. But they could not locate her anywhere in the world. They likely need to look for her in the disappeared countries.

Later in the chapter, Emma and Ray go past one another. Meanwhile, Ray sees Connie’s ghost, who tells him to go the other way. Ray listens to the voice but still cannot find her.

Emma rushes back to the street after realizing that she lost her necklace. When she finds her necklace, she bumps into another group. However, towards the end of “The Promised Neverland” chapter 181, Emma fails to get her memories back.

Twitter user WSJ_manga has shared remarks by “The Promised Neverland” manga creator Kaiu Shirai and illustrator Posuka Demizu published in the upcoming issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.

Kaui writes that he is looking forward to all the forthcoming projects and adaptations. Posuka remarks that he is “very sleepy now.”

In the meantime, other mangaka and artists have congratulated the team for successfully completing “The Promised Neverland.”

The mangaka and artists who thanked Kaui and Posuka include Haruichi Furudate (“Haikyuu!!”), Tsunehiro Date (“Time Paradox Ghostwriter”), Akutami Gege (“Jujutsu Kaisen”) and Taishi Tsutsui (“We Never Learn”).

Chapter 181 concludes with a color page in the upcoming Weekly Shonen Magazine issue.

“The Promised Neverland” Volume 19 is set to release in July, and the final volume will be announced in the future.

Elsewhere, Amazon is likely to showcase “The Promised Neverland” live-action series, Variety reported. Meghan Malloy is roped in to write the scripts. Rodney Rothman will be the director, and he will also executive produce the series with Masi Oka, Miri Yoon, and Roy Lee.
