Fans of the Quake series will be able to get an early look at the latest title in the franchise next month. Developer id Software announced Thursday the closed beta release date for Quake Champions would start April 6.

Players who want to get into the Quake Champions beta can sign up at quake.bethesda.net/en/signup. The first set of Quake Champions beta invites are expected to go out starting next week and additional groups of players will be added into the beta over time.

Quake Champions was first revealed at E3 2016. As with past Quake titles, the PC first-person shooter game revolves around fast-paced multiplayer action and is the first title in the franchise since 2005’s Quake 4 . Publisher Bethesda and id Software also intend to make the growing eSports market a focus for the Quake Champions. Along with touting the game’s ability to run at 120Hz, Quake Champions will also be free-to-play with optional purchasable content.
