  • Prince Andrew will give a toast at Princess Beatrice's wedding

Queen Elizabeth offered to host Princess Beatrice’s wedding reception at the gardens of Buckingham Palace on May 29.

But according to royal expert Angela Mollard, Her Majesty has also banned her granddaughter from doing one thing inside the palace.

On the “Royals” podcast, Mollard said that the Queen wouldn’t allow Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi to be photographed in Buckingham Palace. However, she failed to give a concrete reason why this could be the case.

“It will be interesting to see where they’re photographed, what they actually release. There’s no discussion about this being a televised wedding. We’ll see them obviously going from the chapel to Buckingham Palace in the car. And we’ll see her arriving at the church presumably unless she’s staying at St James’ Palace. I think we’re going to be limited to the pictures that we see. This is very much the sort of wedding that she wants,” Mollard said.

There have been so many controversies surrounding Princess Beatrice’s royal wedding because it was announced just days before Prince Andrew was accused of sexually abusing underage girls years ago.

The initial announcement claimed that Princess Beatrice and Mozzi’s wedding will take place in the early days of spring. But a source told People that the wedding date was changed twice to adjust around the Duke of York’s scandal.

Prince Andrew is expected to walk Princess Beatrice down the aisle, and there are also reports that he could give a toast at the reception. After all, the majority of the guests at the party will be people that are close to the Yorks.

The dad of two will also be featured in Princess Beatrice’s official wedding photos. But there are rumors that those that will include Prince Andrew won’t be released to the public to avoid further backlash.

Prince Andrew reportedly skipped Princess Beatrice’s engagement party since it was held around the same time that he was being investigated.
