Queen Mother gave Queen Elizabeth II some bizarre advice regarding her toilet habits years ago.

In the book “The Wicked Wit of Queen Elizabeth II,” royal biographer Karen Dolby claimed that that the Queen Mother once told Her Majesty to always sit down during public engagements and to avail oneself of toilet facilities whenever the opportunity arises.

A retiring room is designated for the Queen and Prince Philip everywhere they will visit. The room may also be transformed into a panic room in case of an attack.

Gordon Rayner, who went on 20 royal tours with the monarch, previously told The Telegraph that the Queen has her own toilet paper when traveling. He also said that the Queen’s sanitary ware is marked or sealed with stickers to warn others that they are reserved.

However, rumors that the Queen travels with her own loo are not true, according to Dolby. The Queen’s eldest son, Prince Charles, was also rumored to have brought his own toilet seat during his overseas tours. However, he also already squashed the rumors.

In related news, the Queen also made headlines this week after the first and only time that she had an ordinary life was revealed. In the 2014 documentary “The Majestic Life of Queen Elizabeth II,” the monarch only had two years of her life when she was not known as a Princess or a Queen and just the captain’s wife.

Royal correspondent Robert Lacey said that Prince Philip insisted after his marriage to pursue his naval career, and the Queen was on board. The royal family also agreed so the Duke of Edinburgh went to Malta where the British Navy had still a large contingent.

“He was given his own ship. She went out there, not as a Princess, but as the captain’s wife,” Lacey said.

For the first time in her life, the Queen had the opportunity to drive her own car. She also went to hairdressing salons and met friends in cafes for coffee. The Queen basically lived a normal life at that time.
