The second chapter of John Krasinski's much-awaited thriller 'A Quiet Place,' which was set to release on 15 May 2020, is now confirmed to be released two months ahead. Reports say the film's release is now scheduled for March 20, 2020.

Production will begin sometime in July 2019, with producers Brad Fuller and Andrew Form in charge. The film will star the original cast of Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds and Noah Jupe who will be taking up their roles from the first film along with Cillian Murphy.

A Quiet Place was released in 2018 and was a huge success. The movie shows a family living in a post-invasion world. The alien creatures are blind, but extremely sensitive to sound, forcing the family to stay as quiet as possible to avoid being killed.

Paramount Chair and CEO Jim Gianopulos said a sequel to the film was in the making and rumours had it that Krasinkski was working on the script for the sequel with Bryan Woods and Scott Beck.

A Quiet Place was received very well worldwide. On Rotten Tomatoes, the film holds an approval rating of 95% based on 345 reviews and an average rating of 8.17/10. The film focuses on Lee (Krasinski), his wife Evelyn (Emily Blunt) and their children. The daily struggle to survive leaves the family emotionally scarred.

Emily Blunt won the Screen Actors Guild Award for best supporting actress for her performance in the film and Krasinski along with Woods and Beck got a Writers Guild nomination in the original category. The film collected $340 million at the global box office at just $17 million production budget.

John Krasinski has said that the single greatest compliment he received regarding the film, was in a tweet from the master of the horror story himself, Stephen King: "A QUIET PLACE is an extraordinary piece of work. Terrific acting, but the main thing is the SILENCE, and how it makes the camera's eye open wide in a way few movies manage." Fans are very excited and anxious to see what the second chapter of the movie has to offer.
