Raven-Symoné has opened up about her weight loss journey and shared how she managed to lose 30 pounds in three months.

The 35-year-old former Disney Channel star appeared in a segment on "Good Morning America" that aired Friday and revealed that she shed a lot of pounds with "very minimal exercise" by making just a few simple changes to her lifestyle.

The "That's So Raven" alum said she minimizes her carbohydrate intake and goes on fasts, making sure there are at least 14 hours between dinner and breakfast. She further shared that she sustains herself by drinking a lot of water and electrolytes and incorporating bone broth into her diet.

Through fasting and a low-carb diet, Raven said she managed to lose 30 pounds in just three months without having to spend a lot of time in the gym.

"I am an avid faster," she shared. "I drink a lot of water and I drink a lot of electrolytes. I'll drink some bone broth now and then depending on if it gets difficult. But I have a goal in mind, so that's what keeps me sustained."

The former "Cheetah Girls" star made it clear that she was not telling others to follow her regimen and was only sharing the plan that worked for her.

"I'm not over here trying to be a little twig," Raven said. "I'm not trying to be, like, 'Oh my God, look at me.' I have a goal in mind and it's not just weight loss, it's really complete body health."

Raven made her first TV appearance at age 3 when she was cast as Olivia on "The Cosby Show." She admitted that growing up in the spotlight had an effect on her weight due to stress and emotional eating. In 2011, she lost weight but was not happy. This time, she is losing weight for a long-term goal — to be healthy as she gets older.

"Every time I lost weight in the past, it was about size," she explained. "I've been a part of the Hollywood industry machine and I didn't understand why every time I dieted I would gain weight later."

On Friday, Raven shared on Instagram a video of herself walking with her wife, Miranda Pearman-Maday.

"Walkin with baa #pounds down," she wrote in the caption.

In the short clip, she showed her fitness tracker, which indicated that they have already walked 1.89 miles in 40 minutes. She also shared that she had been fasting for 96 hours already at the time, while her wife walked beside her cheering her on.

"Here's the deal, me and exercise don't get along. We only do, it's a quick walk," Raven said.
