Lisa Rinna is keeping her iconic lips shut when it comes to the matter of Kim Richards’ sobriety. The former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” co-stars nearly came to blows during Season 7, episode 7 when they reunited for game night at Kyle Richards’ house.

In another episode of the Bravo reality series that took place after their initial fight, which got ugly quickly, Lisa hit the 90210 for some retail therapy alongside Eden Sassoon. During their shopping trip she confided in the daughter of hair maven Vidal Sassoon that Kim was “mostly sober,” added that she thought the former child star was “close” to dying. Lisa also blamed Kim’s sister Kyle for being an “enabler.”

These allegations didn’t sit well with Kyle, who was tweeting along with the episode at home, nor Lisa herself. In a Bravo TV blog released shortly after the episode aired, Lisa vowed to stop talking about Kim’s struggle with sobriety once and for all. Lisa shared with viewers that watching the moment playback she heard herself saying things that she didn’t recall. She claimed that hearing Eden recount her sister’s death brought back memories of things Kyle had said in the past about being fearful that her sister will die. Lisa suggested that she was coming from a good place, telling readers she was ready “to move on.”

“It gave me chills as I explained the correlation to Eden, because it’s a big realization I have in that moment, and after sharing my feelings with Eden about what went down at game night and the Richards sisters precarious relationship, I vow to myself that the third time’s a charm,” she said. “And I need to be DONE talking about it.”

Lisa and Kim have had a rocky relationship since Season 5. The pair first butted heads during a trip to Amsterdam where, while at dinner, Kim made a comment that suggested she had dirt on Lisa’s husband, Harry Hamlin. To this day no one knows what Harry did and Lisa and Kim remain estranged. Lisa has repeatedly weighed in on Kim’s sobriety, which has rubbed Kim and Kyle the wrong way. In Season 6, the pair had a brief encounter in the finale, during which Kim confronted Lisa for claiming that she was “enraged” about Yolanda Foster having skipped a dinner party to have lunch with her and Brandi Glanville.

“Kim, it’s your choice to live your life the way you live your life...I want you to get better,” Lisa said, which Kim felt was “a dart” being thrown at her.

Despite Lisa’s claims that she felt otherwise, Kim maintains that she is sober. Since her 2015 arrests she had given several interviews, including one on “Watch What Happens Live,” in which she assured fans she was not drinking any more and was committed to staying sober. During her appearance on “RHOBH” in Season 7, she revealed that her grandson is a major reason why she has chosen to stay on the straight and narrow.

“RHOBH” airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.
