Kate Beckinsale and Pete Davidson have been making headlines ever since they were spotted getting flirty at Netflix’s 2019 Golden Globes after-party in January. The funnyman is much younger than the actress, but the latter reportedly doesn’t mind it.

According to The Cheat Sheet reporter Kamila Rivero, the reason why Beckinsale, 24, is into dating Davidson, 25, is because she loves getting attention from younger guys following her divorce from director Len Wiseman in 2016.

Beckinsale and Wiseman, also 45, were together as husband and wife for 12 years. Prior to tying the knot in 2004, the actress was said to be romantically involved with actor Michael Sheen, 50, for eight years.

Ever since Beckinsale got out of her failed marriage, she’s been linked to celebrities who are way younger than her. Prior to Davidson, she was linked to Matt Rife, 23, and Jack Whitehall, 30.

Beckinsale is said to be not looking for anything serious at this point in her life after her two long-term relationships. Davidson is also said to be on the same page as he is not ready to fully commit to a romance following his highly publicized split from Ariana Grande.

Sources revealed last week that it’s very unlikely for Davidson’s newfound relationship with Beckinsale to last. According to them, the two are just in it for the “fun” of having a fling because they are not interested in getting into a serious relationship.

“He thinks she’s cool. They’re on opposite coasts though, so don’t count on it getting too serious,” a source told Us Weekly. Interestingly, an insider said that Beckinsale is exactly Davidson’s type.

Last weekend, it was revealed that Davidson got rid of a tattoo that was inspired by his ex-girlfriend. The “Saturday Night Live” cast member had his “Mille tendresse” ink on the back of his neck covered with the word “CURSED.”

Davidson is in the process of eliminating the tattoos he got while he was engaged to the “7 Rings” hitmaker. He previously changed his “Dangerous Woman” album art-inspired ink to a black heart. The only tattoo that reminds him of Grande left is the “always” skin art written in the singer’s handwriting on his back.
