Since last week, “Red Dead Redemption 2” fans and players know a couple of things about the Revisionist Western-themed action-adventure game. One is that the fan-favorite title is almost positively arriving on PC. The other one is that Rockstar Games has officially confirmed that it is not going to release a single-player content to go along with the game’s PC release.

A few days earlier, the Australian Ratings Board inadvertently hinted at a possible new release for “Red Dead Redemption 2.” The board gave its rating once again, which is obviously something that it would only do if there were another version or platform of the game coming soon. The game got a rating of MA 15+, the same rating that the game’s console versions received.

And considering that Rockstar Games has already confirmed that there is no downloadable content to repackage for “Red Dead Redemption 2,” the balance of the possibility swings in the direction of a PC release. The official confirmation from several Rockstar Games devs is far from the only evidence that could support the claim of the PC release of “Red Dead Redemption 2.” A few weeks ago, Rockstar Games announced its own PC launcher in an extremely saturated market, which makes sense.

Some data miners also discovered several pieces of details of “Red Dead Redemption 2” PC settings in its companion app. As for the downloadable content of “Red Dead Redemption 2,” a couple of game developers already confirmed in a recent interview with VG247 that the team is currently focused on “Red Dead Online.” While they already confirmed that the single-player spin-off is not yet happening, the devs promised to try as much as they can to flesh out the single-player experience and bring it to the online aspect of the game.

With the recent classification given by the rating board to “Red Dead Redemption 2,” it looks like fans will not be speculating about its PC release much longer. As soon as official confirmation is made by Rockstar Games, or as soon we hear anything interesting about “Red Dead Redemption 2” we will surely keep you posted.
