The latest episode of REELZ’s “Reese Witherspoon: The Price of Fame” featuried the time when America’s Sweetheart was arrested with her second husband Jim Toth and how she made a successful comeback in the film industry.

The docuseries’ fourth episode, scheduled to re-air this Thursday, sheds light on Witherspoon’s drunken rant that became viral in 2013 after a dash cam video showed how Reese lied to a police officer and tried to intimidate the latter using her Hollywood status.

In the installment, insiders discuss how Reese made a big change and rebounded her career after the chaos that transpired because of her viral video. The actress’ critically acclaimed role in 2014’s “Wild” that landed her an Oscar nomination the following year was said to be instrumental in Reese’s restored career.

Back when she was still promoting the movie, Witherspoon addressed her drunken arrest. The actress told ABC News that she believed it was that moment when people realized that she wasn’t really what they thought she was.

“I guess maybe we all like to define people by the way the media presents them, and I think that I showed I have a complexity that people didn't know about. It's part of human nature. I made a mistake. We all make mistakes. The best you can do is say sorry and learn from it and move on,” she said.

In the same episode of the docuseries, Witherspoon’s troubled marriage with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe was also featured. Insiders revealed that rivalry and jealousy drove the former couple to call it quits and fill for divorce despite having two kids: Ava Elizabeth, who is now 19, and Deacon, currently 15.

According to biographer Lauren Brown, Reese and Ryan’s marriage started to crumble when the actress had her “huge career-changing moment.” Aside from the success of her 2001 movie “Legally Blonde,” Witherspoon became huge when she won an Oscar for 2005’s “Walk the Line.”

Witherspoon and Phillippe were viewed as this sweet, happy couple when they tied the knot in 1999. But things drastically changed in the following years because the actor didn’t like how his wife’s career was overshadowing his spotlight.

Reese and Ryan divorced in 2007. Two years later, the actress opened up for the first time about the issue, saying that it was very “tough” for her so she chose to spend some time away from the public eye to feel better.

Witherspoon and Toth married in 2011. They welcomed their first child together, a son named Tennessee James, the following year.
