Great day fishing. time with grandpa doing the simple things in life. great day, Bieber tweeted at 10 p.m. to his more than 18 million fans.

Bieber isn't the first celebrity to fall victim to a death hoax on Twitter and other social media platforms.

Last month, actor Keanu Reeves was victim of a death hoax one day after singer Whitney Houston died. A false report about the actor's death was published on the website Global Associated News, which claimed that the actor died shortly after a snowboarding accident in Switzerland.

Rapper Drake, actor Eddie Murphy, Adele, Rick Ross, LeBron James, Jon Bon Jovi, Charlie Sheen, Adam Sandler, TooShort, Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Bacon, Luke Perry, Jack Black, Will Smith, Jaden Smith, Tom Green, Mac Miller, Tiger Woods, and George Clooney have all been falsely reported dead and have had death hoaxes as trending topics on Twitter.

But some Bieber fans are not too happy about the death hoax.
