Robert Pattinson Kisses Actress Mia Wasikowska, Is He Getting Back Together With Kristen Stewart?

“Twilight” fans were up in arms this week after photos of star Robert Pattinson caught him kissing a woman who wasn’t his former love and co-star, Kristen Stewart. Fortunately for fans of the "Twilight" co-stars’ romance, the 27-year-old British native was only kissing his new co-star, actress Mia Wasikowska, for an upcoming movie role.

People magazine reported Thursday that Pattinson was spotted kissing 23-year-old Wasikowska for a scene for the upcoming David Cronenberg drama, “Map to the Stars.” According to a source on set, the on-screen couple was forced to kiss on multiple occasions, reportedly shooting the intimate scene four times at a Hollywood Hills location with three different camera angles. The duo was reportedly uncomfortable with the make-out session, according to the Daily Mail, which claimed the pair would “burst into laughter” during takes. The film, set for a 2014 release, explores the ideals of Hollywood and its effects on Western culture.

Despite his public display of affection for Wasikowska, Pattinson is rumored to be attempting to reconcile with Stewart, 23, following their split in May. Us Weekly reported Monday that the former couple got together for a “very intense conversation” at the actress’ Los Feliz, Calif., home earlier this month to discuss their breakup, which was originally attributed to their issues with “priorities.” "They will probably pick up where they left off," a source revealed to the magazine. Pattinson was spotted spending time at Stewart’s home in late July. One X17 photographer reported that the actor attempted to arrive at the “Twilight” star's home undetected by paparazzi, saying, "Rob looked nervous on his way to visit Kristen. He was trying to be discreet so no one would see him.” The duo reportedly spent two hours together before Pattinson was seen leaving the property sans Stewart.
