Royal 10-Year Challenge: How Queen, Kate, Meghan, Camilla Dressed A Decade Ago

The royals are in for the 10-year challenge.

Queen Elizabeth II, Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle and Camilla Parker Bowles are often photographed when they are out. However, some of them made a huge shift in their wardrobe after a decade as shown in Hello!'s collection of photos.

Queen Elizabeth II

A decade ago, Her Majesty was photographed in a bright blue outfit with black gloves. After 10 years, nothing much has changed with Queen Elizabeth II. She was able to maintain her taste for classic style and bright colored outfits.

Camilla Parker Bowles

The Duchess of Cornwall officially became a royal member when she married Prince Charles in 2005. Camilla has been in the royal fold for over a decade.

In 2009, she was photographed wearing her classic cuts and tartan dress. Just like Queen Elizabeth II, Camilla’s fashion hasn’t changed.

Sometimes the duchess is seen in more daring outfits. But she maintains the same hairstyle. Camilla is more groomed now and regularly wows in sophisticated and elegant gowns.

Kate Middleton

Ten years ago, Middleton was still dating Prince William and she looked like a regular girl. In this photo, Middleton wore a blue mini dress, black tights and slightly worn boots with her hair tied back for a night out. Her outfit is visibly shorter than the dresses she wears when she attends royal engagements at present. So much has changed when it comes to Middleton’s fashion.

She was never seen wearing short dresses and shorts after marrying Prince William. Also, she tends to be always camera-ready with her perfectly waved locks. In addition, Middleton’s taste when it comes to jewelry and handbags has significantly changed. Middleton has gone from a normal girl to a super stylish royal after a decade.

Meghan Markle

Ten years ago, Markle was very different. In this snap, she wears a black short playsuit and sandals — a look that’s very different from her outfits lately.

Markle has always had a great sense of style and this hasn’t changed. However, her designer tastes did. Moreover, Markle didn’t mind stepping out with her un-styled natural locks before. Today, she’s all groomed and usually styles her hair in waves or sleek up-dos.

In 2018, Markle was named Lyst’s third most powerful fashion influencer. She trailed behind Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian who bagged the top and second spots.
