Rumored James Harden-Khloé Kardashian Spinoff Nixed, But Will Lamar Odom Be On Season 11 Of 'Keeping Up'?

It wouldn’t be the Kardashian family everyone knows and loves if they didn’t purportedly try to profit off of Lamar Odom’s medical scare. They were accused of bringing “KUWTK” cameras to the hospital after the former Los Angeles Lakers star was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel Oct. 13. Now they are trying to figure out how and if they will work his near-death experience into Season 11, Entertainment Tonight wrote in an exclusive report Thursday.

The E! reality family said they halted production after Odom, 35, was given a “50-50” chance of survival. After he woke up from his coma Friday, cameras began to role again. The first major event the cameras captured was pregnant Kim Kardashian West’s 35th birthday party at the Cinépolis Luxury-Westlake Village cinema in Thousand Oaks, California, ET reported.

Sister Kylie Jenner, 18, documented Kardashian West’s arrival on Snapchat and a boom mic can be seen in one of the short videos. Partygoers, like sister Kendall Jenner, 19, donned fake baby bumps to celebrate with the expectant mother and Kardashian West thanked her husband, Kanye West, for throwing her a wonderful party.

One person who was noticeably absent from the bash was Khloé Kardashian, who was presumably taking care of Odom in the hospital. Before they reconnected, she wanted to get a spinoff series with her then-boyfriend, Houston Rockets guard James Harden, Radar Online wrote in an exclusive report Monday.

But family members weren’t keen on the idea. “Khloé ’s family thought that the idea of a spin-off with James was absolutely ridiculous,” the insider said. “It was just obvious to everyone that Khloé was trying to do whatever she could to remain relevant.”

The person added: “Khloé ’s biggest fear is being basic, and she’d been feeling like she does not have a place on ‘KUWTK’ any more except to be the voice of reason to her sisters when they have drama.”

Since she reportedly broke up with Harden, 26, in a text message, a spinoff with him is likely off the table. Kardashian and Odom dismissed their divorce Wednesday. Her mother, Kris Jenner, said she has “nothing but love” for their decision.
