With the NBA resumption on its way, one of the teams contending for the title is the Houston Rockets. And many are curious to know who is richer between its superstars, James Harden and Russell Westbrook.

The Rockets are one of the favorites to win the title this season. The roster is loaded after adding Westbrook in 2019 to team up with Harden as they try to win a ring this time around. The two played in Oklahoma City Thunder before and the chemistry is still evident. Plus, cach of them has now won an MVP award. But one question still remains: can they win it all together?

At 30 years old, Harden is at the peak of his career. According to Celebrity Net Worth, with $165 million net worth and an MVP award under his belt, the thing he focuses on right now is winning a title to cement his basketball legacy. Aside from his NBA salary, Harden makes serious money off brand partnerships. He has been the face of Adidas since signing a 13-year, $200 million deal. The lefty shooter also represents Art of Sport (AOS), Electronic Arts, State Farm and BodyArmor, among others.

On the other hand, Westbrook is 31 years old and has an estimated net worth of $150 million, as per Celebrity Net Worth. Like Harden, RWB is focused on winning a ring at this stage of his career. He has made tons of money in NBA contracts and endorsement deals. He has lucrative partnerships with the Jordan brand for shoes and True Religion Apparel. Westbrook has his own signature shoes with Jordan. The duo is also a power tandem when it comes to fashion. The former and current teammates are always rocking outfits that only they can pull off.

When the net worth of the two superstars and MVPs are compared, Harden has a slight advantage. Their style of play is almost identical with a lot of isos but they can also become a triple-double threat on every given night. When it comes to production, the numbers are close. Harden has career averages of 25 points per game, while Westbrook has tallied 23.2 points per game in his career

The league is set to resume its season on July 31. Invited teams are set to play a number of games to determine playoff seeding. However, the Rockets will have to do without their energetic point guard as Westbrook revealed he tested positive for COVID-19. In his social media post, the former MVP claims he is feeling fine and is following strict quarantine protocols. He added that he will join the team in the Orlando Bubble once given medical clearance.
