EZFunnel founder Said Shiripour Said Shiripour

Digital entrepreneurs today are more focused on building products while launching a business, but it is far from the best way to achieve success. What they really need to do is build solutions and not products. If you are wondering, there's a clear difference between the two. A product is capable of solving a potential problem, whereas a solution is a particular application of a problem that solves the needs of a specific industry or business segment.

For example, a CRM software aimed at oil & gas engineering and procurement companies, a landing page and lead-generation solution for German-speaking markets, and more. Basically, a solution-led business truly follows a popular saying, “Niche it Down.”

Solution-oriented businesses are also laser-focused as they do not spread the net too wide and instead focus on solving a particular problem within a specific domain. Thus, they are more likely to succeed, says Said Shiripour. Also, having a mission and a solution that fills a market gap is a big differentiating factor. Considering that almost 50 million new businesses launch every year, having a clear mission and building a solution instead of just a product can help a new business stand out from the rest.

We are talking to Said Shiripour, the founder of EZFunnels, and we will get to know what it was like becoming an entrepreneur for him and the journey that took him on the path of entrepreneurship. Besides this, Said Shiripour also shares his advice about how an entrepreneur can achieve success.

An online marketing expert and the founder of EZFunnels, Said Shiripour is an energetic entrepreneur and a well-known author. With his SaaS solution EZFunnels, Shirirpour has helped budding entrepreneurs to build their online businesses from scratch by generating leads and converting them into long-standing customers.

Born in 1990 in Tehran, Iran, Said Shirirpour immigrated to Germany with his family at the age of 10. A software engineer from the Technical University in Kaiserslautern, Shirirpour was awarded the best online marketer in Germany, wrote two highly successful books, presided over more than 50 product launches, and more than 50 million Euros in product sales. Today, we talk to Shirirpour about his mission of enabling businesses and communities to live in financial freedom, irrespective of the geographic barriers they are in.

Being already a successful marketer and entrepreneur yourself, what prompted you in your mission to help people achieve their goals?

The desire to live a more meaningful life had always been there in me since childhood. My life experiences have played a significant role in shaping my thoughts. Our family fled to Germany from Iran practically without any means of survival. We hardly had any money, language skills, or prospects of that kind. I started working at a fruit and vegetable shop at a very young age while still at school. It was tough juggling between work and studies initially, but the shop proved immensely helpful in teaching me the basic skills of selling.

Subsequently, I went to study engineering. However, the thoughts of having a business of my own - online - had already spread its wings. The life of a hard-working immigrant prompted me all the more to become free and independent with my own business. At the same time, it made me empathetic towards others who were having a life similar to mine.

While studying, I invested almost all my free time learning all that I could about online marketing and its implementations. Once I started tasting success, I knew that success could only be sustained by spreading it within the community. Supporting other people to build their online businesses helped my ecosystem grow and become more robust.

Helping people around you and communities at large is also about managing expectations. How do you deal with those pressures?

Managing expectations is not taxing if you are well aware of the realities of the setting you operate in. Experiences teach you what works and what does not on the ground. You must remember them and be ready to recall them when the time of application comes. My experiential knowledge empowers me to precisely instruct people working with me about what they should do and what they should not. It's not that I always succeed. But there is no denying that my solution EZFunnels is growing each day, and I am helping more and more people with lead generation and sales automation.

What motivates you to go out each day and do the work that you do?

My motivation comes from seeing other people succeed. My ultimate vision in life is to empower as many people as possible during my lifetime. At the same time, I am always mindful about honing my skills and getting better at the work I do. To be more precise, Said Shiripour’s mission, at present, is making EZFunnels the number one player in its space in Germany. I want to help entrepreneurs advance with digitization as fast as feasible.

Digitization comes with more freedom and opportunities for people working in these companies. It is the same for the entrepreneurs and the people who work with them. Their job role gets better, and so does their pay, ultimately making their lives a lot smoother.

I also feel motivated when people share their success stories and how EZ Funnels helped them achieve their goals. Seeing the results of your work first-hand and how it brings joy to people's lives is the biggest motivator.

Mr. Said Shiripour, please tell us more about your business model

Ours is an all-in-one software solution for online entrepreneurs, affiliates, and anyone who wants to make money from the internet. While founding the company, I had come across two issues that my clients were frequently facing: lack of technical knowledge, restrictions in budget.

Building a successful business over the internet was about working with a host of different software for setting up landing pages, constructing efficient funnels or sales pages, organizing webinars, or creating member areas. While it was a cumbersome process to work with, it was also expensive. And, even after spending thousands of dollars for several months, there were high chances of things not falling into place.

In EZFunnels, we offer hundreds of templates for various page types and niches. Everyone in the team - even people without any prior technical knowledge - can put together and build an optimized site using drag and drop, molding it to their needs.

We also have a training area where customers learn everything to build a successful online business. We are now the most used software for sales funnels and lead generation among German-speaking countries, with an annual growth rate of 103%.

Which aspects are the most important in taking a business successfully online?

First, you need to remember that there is no shortcut to success. You cannot become rich overnight. You need to be consistent and persuasive with your efforts to get sustained results. On the other hand, excuses do not work. There is no point in finding out limitations all the time.

A sumptuous budget or hefty technical knowledge are not preconditions to success. You learn along the way. The only thing you need to have is the willingness to learn. Secondly, you need to prioritize your work. Not every aspect can be covered within a short span. You will have to understand what needs to be done when.

Finally, every entrepreneur must keep asking themselves one central question: How am I helping others solve problems? A good product is never only a product. It is a solution that helps make lives better.

We thank Said Shiripour for taking the time for this interview.
