The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is slated to be announced alongside the Galaxy Note 5 on Thursday. Freshly leaked information reveals an optional QWERTY keyboard accessory will be available for the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus handsets.

A tipster leaked an image of the QWERTY keyboard on Twitter. Android Authority reported a German tech website spotted the new accessory on Central Point, a German retailer site.

BGR reported the bottom of the QWERTY keyboard features three Android navigation buttons. It is not known whether Samsung has itself manufactured the product or a third-party built it.

It is priced at 60 Euros ($66). By providing a physical keyboard, the South Korean tech giant may be testing the demand for QWERTY devices. Speculations are rife Samsung collaborated with BlackBerry on the upcoming Venice smartphone that runs Android OS and features a QWERTY keyboard that slides vertically.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is dubbed as the larger model of the Galaxy S6 Edge smartphone. It will be coming with a 5.7 inches Super AMOLED display. It will be running on Exynos 7420 chipset and 4 GB of RAM.

It will be housing a 16 megapixel camera on its rear along with a 5 MP selfie shooter, and will be available with 32GB of native storage. It will arrive with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

Rumors also indicate the Galaxy Edge Tablet with dual-edge curved screen is expected to get unleashed at the Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event Thursday.

The rumored Galaxy Gear A smartwatch probably will not be announced until the IFA 2015 event, Android Authority said.
