The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event, which takes place in New York on Aug. 13, will officially unveil the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus flagships. Fresh rumors indicate that a Samsung Galaxy Edge Tablet may also get showcased at the launch.

According to Android Authority, the Philippines edition of Samsung’s website has posted a teaser image that contains three unidentified devices. Out of the three, two are smaller devices that are pegged as the Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus.

However, the third device seems to be bigger and to feature a similar design. Since the South Korean tech giant has released the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 tablets in two sizes of 8 inches and 9.7 inches, speculations are claiming that the mysterious device may be the Samsung Galaxy Edge Tablet.

For several months, purported images, specs and features of the Note 5 and the S6 Edge Plus have emerged. But there have been no rumors about an Edge version of a Samsung Galaxy tablet. Like the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, the purported slate is expected to house a dual-edge curved Super AMOLED screen.

As of this writing, there is no official confirmation on the existence of the Samsung Galaxy Edge Tablet. However, if Samsung launches a Galaxy tablet with dual-edge screen, it will be able to place itself apart from rival brands like Apple and Xiaomi in the tablet market. According to Sam Mobile, the South Korean firm is working on a very large tablet PC of 18.4 inches. The device has already arrived in India for evaluation process.

On Aug. 13, Samsung is also expected announce the Samsung Galaxy Gear A smartwatch. It will be featuring dual-core Exynos chipset, 768 MB of RAM, 4 GB of inbuilt storage, 4.1 Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Tizen 2.3.1 OS.

The Note 5 and the S6 Edge Plus will be coming with similar specs like 5.7 inches Quad HD screen, Exynos 7420 chipset, 4 GB of RAM, Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS and more. However, both the devices will lack a microSD card.
