Sarah Ferguson Engagement Rumors: Duchess Tying The Knot With Peregrine Kitchener-Fellowes This Year?

Sarah Ferguson and Princess Beatrice will reportedly both get married to their respective partners this year.

According to New Idea, Fergie has already gotten engaged to her much younger boyfriend, Peregrine Kitchener-Fellowes. The rumored couple was first linked to each other weeks ago. Last year, Princess Beatrice got engaged to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and their wedding date has been confirmed for May 29.

“Beatrice and Eugenie were in shock when Fergie revealed how Peregrine popped the question after whisking her to the Lake District for a romantic weekend away. She revealed how he proposed in a ‘sheer moment of madness’ following a long walk and got down on one knee in a spur-of-the-moment decision which she said had her in tears, despite initially taking her back,” a source told the tabloid.

But as exciting as this story may seem to be, it is unlikely to be true. Fergie has never confirmed her alleged romance with Kitchener-Fellowes so an engagement or even a wedding is next to impossible.

The Duchess of York, who divorced Prince Andrew in 1996, has been single for years. In fact, there have been rumors that the former couple would eventually tie the knot again after Prince Philip passes away because they’re still in love with each other.

However, a source from Fergie’s press office told Vanity Fair that reconciliation or even a wedding won’t happen. After all, Prince Andrew and Ferguson are just good friends.

Every now and then, Fergie post sweet messages for her ex-husband on social media, which proves that they still have a wonderful relationship with each other. Last November, the mom of two expressed her support for Prince Andrew after he was accused of sexually abusing underage girls years ago.

“Andrew is a true and real gentleman and is stoically steadfast to not only his duty but also his kindness and goodness of always seeing the best in people. I am deeply supportive and proud of this giant of a principled man, that dares to put his shoulder to the wind and stands firm with his sense of honor and truth,” she wrote on Instagram.
