Sarah Jessica Parker recently put an end to the rumors surrounding “Sex and the City 3.”

The actress, who played the role of Carrie Bradshaw in the TV series and the movies, said that a third film installment won’t ever happen in the future. “I mean, not as far as I can imagine. Unless… I mean, no, No. I struggle with it because it’s a bit sad, but I think one must keep these things in perspective. I have a lot of incredible memories, singular memories, that are shared among those four women, and I’m incredibly grateful for the experience… I forever love having had that time with those women,” she told Entertainment Tonight.

After Kim Cattrall bowed out of “Sex and the City 3” last year, rumors swirled that the actress will be replaced in her role as Samantha Jones. But this won’t happen either.

The actress also made headlines in October after she told the Daily Mail that she and her three co-stars were never really friends. “We’ve been colleagues and in some ways, it’s a very healthy place to be because then you have a clear line between your professional life and relationship and your personal,” Cattrall said.

Cattrall also said that her three co-stars, Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, all have children. She is also 10 years older than them that’s why they were never really close to each other.

“They all have children and I am 10 years older, and since, specifically, the series ended, I have been spending most of my time outside of New York, so I don’t see them. The common ground that we had was the series, and the series is over,” she added.

Meanwhile, before the renewal of “Sex and the City” was completely shut down, Davis said that she still has hope that she can reprise her role as Charlotte.
