After dropping to No. 2 in the previous tally, SB19's "Bazinga" returns to the summit of Billboard's weekly Hot Trending Songs, kicking BTS' "Butter" to the second spot in the week ending on Dec. 25. This is the second time the Filipino boyband is defeating the famous South Korean group on the said chart.

"Bazinga" is now the second longest-running No. 1 hit in the short history of the Hot Trending Songs chart, next to "Butter" which dominated for six weeks. The other BTS track that remains on the chart is "Permission to Dance," which previously debuted at No. 1 but never returned to the top. This week, it slides further down the chart from No. 10 to No. 15.

Powered by Twitter, Billboard's Hot Trending Songs chart keeps track of music-related trends and conversations in real-time. It covers activities from Friday through Thursday of the following week and takes note of new music releases, awards shows, festival highlights and related events. The chart is unique because it tracks what songs people are talking about instead of simply recording what they are listening to.

SB19 officially became the first act to dethrone the hugely popular septet on the chart dated Dec. 11, which tracked tweets from Nov. 26 to Dec. 2. The group, which is composed of five members namely Pablo, Josh, Justin, Ken and Stell, was also the first Southeast Asian act to be nominated to the Top Social Artist category of the Billboard Music Awards in April.

This week, Japanese boyband BE:FIRST climbs to the No. 3 with its debut single, "Gifted," followed by newly launched South Korean girl group IVE with its debut track, "Eleven," on the No. 4 spot. On the fifth spot is Dimash Kudaibergen's "Fly Away," followed by Ateez's "The Real" at No. 6.

Blackpink's Lisa is at No. 7 for her solo track "Lalisa," while boyband KAI's "Peaches" lands at No. 8. To complete the list, there's Mew Suppasit's "Spaceman" and Dimash Kudaibergen's "Be With Me," which claim the No. 9 and 10 spots, respectively.

Ateez marks its first entry to the Hot Trending Songs chart following the premiere of the official music video of "The Real" and the release of its new EP "Zero: Fever Epilogue" this month. The EP is currently at No. 1 on Billboard's World Albums chart.
