  • She was with her ex-boyfriend, Tyler Wilkins, during the time of her disappearance

The family of a woman who was reported missing in 2020 came forward after her ex-boyfriend was arrested and charged with murder in connection to an unrelated crime.

Jorden Shyann Nebling, now 21 years old, was last heard of on Oct. 10, 2020. She was known for frequenting the Travelers Rest and Marietta areas in South Carolina. Nebling was 19 years old at the time she went missing.

In the WYFF's previous report, Nebling was described as a 5 feet 5 inches tall woman that weighed 110 pounds. She had blonde hair and blue eyes. Nebling also had a tattoo on her left forearm that read, "live free."

According to Nebling's stepmother, Mary Tucker, her ex-boyfriend was Tyler Wilkins, 22, who was recently charged with murder in connection to the deaths of his girlfriend, Clarrissa Winchester, 22, and their newborn son. The authorities found their bodies at a home in Greenville County, South Carolina, last Wednesday.

Tucker said that Wilkins and Nebling were together during the time Nebling disappeared.

"The car broke down, and she had somebody to come and pick her up," Tucker said, as reported by Fox 19. "Tyler is the one that came and picked her up. He told me. He told the detectives, and he said she walked away, and he doesn't know where she went."

Wilkins was charged with murder, kidnapping, and unlawful neglect of a child. Investigators said that Wilkins failed to seek medical attention for the baby. During a court appearance on Thursday, he was denied bond on all three charges. Wilkins' case will be transported to the circuit court for bond consideration, WYFF reported.

According to the coroner, Winchester died due to blunt force trauma of the head and neck. The cause of death of the newborn was still being investigated.

The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division confirmed that Wilkins also faced multiple charges, including domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature, attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime in December 2021.

Meanwhile, the Greenville County Sheriff's Office has not charged, arrested, or identified any persons of interest in Nebling's disappearance.

Anyone with information on Nebling's whereabouts is asked to call 864-271-5210 or Crime Stoppers of Greenville at 23-CRIME.
