It seems that Hester Ulrich (Lea Michele) is going to spend less time in her cell in future episodes of “Scream Queens.”

According to the synopsis for Season 2, episode 6, titled “Blood Drive,” Hester finds a way to join C.U.R.E. Institute’s hospital staff, which suggests that the former Red Devil now has the liberty to walk around the medical facility just like any other member of the establishment’s staff.

Since Hester doesn’t have any medical background, she would probably enroll as a medical student in the teaching hospital, just like what the Chanels did.

It’s unclear why Dean Cathy Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) agrees to give Hester a job in the hospital, but the two may have agreed on a deal that gives the latter her newfound freedom. Whatever that agreement is, freeing a newly convicted serial killer isn’t really a good idea, so viewers can expect more chaos inside the hospital once Hester is out from her cell permanently.

In fact, even she’s not yet totally free in the most recent episode of “Scream Queens,” Hester managed to injure Chanel Oberlin’s (Emma Roberts) leg after Denise Hemphill (Niecy Nash) released her from her cell to join the hospital’s staff Halloween party.

While adding Hester to the hospital’s staff means more danger for other characters, the decision to release her from her cell is a good move for the show in terms of plot, because it adds more tension and opens possible new storylines.

Also in Episode 6, Dean and Chanel organize a blood drive to solve the hospital’s severe shortage of blood bags following an influx of patients. Nurse Ingrid Hoffel (Kristie Alley) also sets a revenge plan in motion in the episode, and a shocking revelation involving the Green Meanie surfaces.

“Scream Queens” Season 2, Episode 6 airs on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 9 p.m. ET on FOX.
