The soon-to-debut Ford (F) Bronco and its little sister, the Bronco Sport, were spotted once again only this time they are completely free of any camouflage.

The two SUVs were caught in a desert environment which has been speculated to be Ford’s Arizona Proving Grounds in Wittmann. The photos come courtesy of the Bronco6G forum, where a user posted the images that appear to be taken from a drone.

If the two vehicles are at the proving grounds, it is most like that they are doing some last-minute testing in the Arizona heat and desert conditions. The photos capture the Bronco and Bronco sport just days before their launch, showing the brightly painted SUVs getting dirty in the desert sand. This is just one more set of photos to be revealed prior to the unveiling by Ford.

Ford said it will launch the Bronco on July 13 after first announcing that it would release on July 9 - the birthday day of former NFL Hall of Famer O.J. Simpson, who was involved in a low-speed chase in Los Angeles in 1994 in a white 1993 Bronco after being charged for the murders of ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend, Ronald Goldman, which was televised before millions of people.

While no new details can be gleaned from the photos, it expected that the Bronco will be reportedly offered with a seven-speed manual transmission with an ultra-low crawler gear. The SUV is also thought to be powered by the Ford Ranger’s 2.3-liter Ecoboost engine, with the Ford 2.7-liter Ecoboost V6 also available as a powertrain option as previously reported.

Ford stock was trading at $6.26 per share at 3:09 p.m. EDT, up $0.03 from 0.48%.
