Selena Gomez Has Justin Bieber To Thank For Her ‘Semi-Serious’ New Boyfriend

In a strange turn of events, a new report suggests Selena Gomez may have her on-again, off-again ex Justin Bieber for getting her with her new “semi-serious” boyfriend.

In Touch Weekly’s April 8 print issue it is reported that Gomez, 26, has “moved on” with a mystery man. “She has a new boyfriend, and it’s semi-serious,” an insider told the magazine. “He’s been spending a lot of time at her house.”

The report adds that Gomez, who dated Bieber, 25, for several years, could have her longtime ex to thank for her speculated blossoming relationship. With Bieber now married, the source said Gomez was free to officially cut ties with the “Baby” singer.

“She kept going back to him,” said the insider. “Even if he wasn’t married to Hailey, Selena still wouldn’t take him back. She’s happy with her new life -- and man.”
