KEY POINTS

  • An online troll left Chrishell Stause a scathing message about her personal life
  • She told the troll she's not the one who's miserable
  • Stause confirmed her romance with Jason Oppenheim earlier this year

Chrishell Stause had the best response after an Instagram user left a scathing message about her career and relationship. The “Selling Sunset” star took to Instagram Stories on Saturday to share the message she got from a troll, who told her she couldn’t “accomplish anything without a man.”

“The only reason why you’re getting listings and selling them is bc of Jason,” wrote the Instagram user, referring to Stause’s budding romance with her “Selling Sunset” co-star, Jason Oppenheim. “You’re such a fake and I hope you own up to your s**t and stop holding grudges you miserable bitch.”

“It would seem I am not the miserable one here Genesis,” Stause responded to the troll. “When you are an agent on TV you end up getting so much business you have to refer it out to others bc there is only so much time in a day. The days of getting more listings because of rank in the office are long gone.”

"But please take a breather and have a great day! Thanks for watching!!!!” she concluded.

After posting the now-defunct Instagram Story, Stause thanked her fans for all their support and love in another post. “You guys just flooded my DMs with the nicest messages, and I wasn’t posting it for that,” she told her fans. “It just kind of gave me a laugh. But I really do appreciate it. You guys are just so kind and sweet and I know they are way more of you than the trolls. Thank you!!” she continued.

This is not the first time Stause has proven she’s a pro at handling dramas when it comes to her relationships. Last summer, she also responded to an online troll after being criticized for sharing PDA-filled posts with her new beau.

“That’s just weird with your boss!!” an Instagram user wrote. “Who’s gonna tell her…?” answered Stause, who was previously married to Justin Hartley from 2017 to February 2021.

Earlier this month, Stause opened up about her romance with Oppenheim at the 2021 People’s Choice Awards Red Carpet, saying, “I love him very much, and I feel like that’s why it doesn’t feel as scary, things don’t have to go perfect ‘cause I feel like that love and respect will always be there.”
