Chrishell Stause revealed that she is in a better place after going through a "crazy year" and her divorce from Justin Hartley.

During an interview with E! News to promote her DSW curated collection, the "Selling Sunset" star gave an update on her life, revealing that she spent the last year healing and writing her book.

"I feel like it was a crazy year," the 39-year-old reality star told the outlet. "Last year with the lockdown and everything, I really spent that time to heal and that's when I started writing the book."

She continued, "I feel like now, I really do feel like I'm living my best life and that's the book I wrote coming out. It's 'Under Construction' because living my best life took a little work and it's true. But now, I really feel like I can celebrate this journey that I've had."

In June, Stause, who rented a bachelorette pad in Los Angeles following her split from Hartley in 2019, was finally able to purchase a property in the Hollywood Hills for a reported $3.3 million. The real estate agent said she is content with what she has at this point in her life.

"It has been such a journey to finally get to this place where I feel like I found my voice and I just felt so happy and grateful for everything," she shared. "I'm not gonna take any of this for granted."

While she used to comment and clap back at false headlines about her, she said she pays less attention to chatter nowadays and speculations and rumors no longer bother her.

"I really do feel like when you're focused on your own life and really happy, then it really makes everything easier," Stause explained. "I do think that's the case because when you're living in the other place where you are seeing all these things, I don't see a lot of it now actually. I feel like I'm at a place where I just wish everybody the best."

Stause dated "Dancing with the Stars" pro Keo Motsepe following her divorce from Hartley, but they split earlier this year after just three months together. Following the breakup, an unnamed source told Us Weekly in March that she is taking a break from dating.

"She went through so much heartbreak this past year that she really is taking a break from dating. She’s someone who does love being in a relationship, but now she’s completely going to take time for herself and focus on what’s to come," the insider said.

Meanwhile, Hartley has already moved on with Sofia Pernas. The "This Is Us" actor and the "Brave" actress secretly tied the knot a few months ago. Their secret wedding was confirmed by an unnamed source to People after they made their red carpet debut as a couple at the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards in May.

Stause's book "Under Construction" will be released on Feb. 8, 2022.
