Although Emma Watson had the longest cameo in the 2013 film “This Is The End,” Seth Rogen addressed the rumor that the actress walked off of set during production after refusing to shoot a bizarre scene with Channing Tatum.

In a new interview featured in the May issue of GQ, Rogen revealed Watson was supposed to be featured in a scene with Danny McBride as a cannibal and Tatum dressed in very little clothing and portraying his gimp on a leash.

The film followed a group of friends, including Rogen, McBride, James Franco, Jonah Hill, Craig Robinson, and Jay Baruchel playing fictionalized versions of themselves in the wake of the apocalypse.

Rogen revealed Watson may have backed out of the scene due to a misunderstanding she may have had from reading the movie script, but that there were no hard feelings from the incident.

“I mean, I don’t look back on that and think, ‘How dare she do that?’ You know? I think sometimes when you read something when it comes to life it doesn’t seem to be what you thought it was,” he explained.

“But it was not some terrible ending to our relationship. She came back the next day to say goodbye. She helped promote the film. No hard feelings and I couldn’t be happier with how the film turned out in the end.”

Rogen admitted Watson most likely made a good decision by refusing to film the raunchy scene. “She was probably right. It was probably funnier the way we ended up doing it,” he said.

However, that wasn’t the only outlandish thing that happened while creating “This Is The End.” Rogen revealed he reached out to rapper Snoop Dogg to write a song for the movie. However, once they were in the studio, the actor asked the artist to rap a verse.

Rogen then learned that Snoop had a unique creative process when he summoned exotic dancers to perform in the studio while he wrote his verse. “It is zero percent embellished,” Rogen insisted.

“They just came in! I don’t know where they came from. I don’t know where they were. They just came in, they did their thing, and then they got out.”

Nowadays, when Rogen is not making movies, he is focused on his cannabis lifestyle brand Houseplant. While Rogen’s brand offers home decor to all customers, for now, it is only offering the actor’s three favorite strains of cannabis in California, where recreational marijuana is legal.
