“Shadow Warrior 2” is finally coming to the Xbox One and PS4 consoles. Flying Wild Hog has announced the good news to fans of the first-person shooter on Twitter.

Last Friday, the official “Shadow Warrior 2” Twitter page was updated with announcements from developer Flying Wild Hog. One of the announcements stated that the game that debuted on PC last October is finally getting a PS4/Xbox One release this spring. Not only that, all of the DLCs will be part of the console release. The developer included a caveat, however, saying that the release will only happen if all the certification stuff would go well.

PC players also received good news on the same day with the developer announcing that “Shadow Warrior 2 - Bounty Hunt Part 1” free DLC has arrived. This new content comes with 14 new missions, two new weapons and four new perks for Lo Wang and the gang.

PC Gamer noted that the new missions have really catchy names like Plague of the Bunny Lords, Danger Zone on Mt. Akuma and 50 Shades of Shade. The gaming news site also stated that the new missions are going to be available via a “Bounty Board,” which is found in the middle of the Wang Cave.

Compared to the first expansion, entitled “The Way of the Wang,” “Bounty Hunt Part 1” is more substantial. The former only brought a couple of new Trials and expanded crafting, while the latter now offers a lot of new content, including the Medusa Ray and EX-GF01 weapons and the Revenge and Shared Pain Perks players can use when striking at demons.

Players can also take advantage of the special offer publisher Devolver Digital is offering. For this weekend, the game is discounted by 25 percent, so everyone’s invited to purchase it on GOG and Steam while the offer is still around.
