  • Shiba Inu reveals another feature of 'Shiba Eternity'
  • The CCG is set to go live on Oct. 6
  • SHIB was trading up 0.88% at $0.0000112

The highly anticipated "Shiba Eternity" Download Day is just a few days away, and as the hype surges around the upcoming Collectible Card Game (CCG), Shiba Inu has revealed more game features.

The latest information about "Shiba Eternity" came from the Official SHIB Discord moderator and Growth Breed member who goes by the Twitter handle @SHIBQueenie. On Monday, a Twitter user with the handle @Rebelwithwisdom asked the moderator if the CCG is kid-friendly in the sense that it would not require a credit card or a crypto wallet to play.

"There are in-app purchases but it's 100% not mandatory or needed to have a great time playing," SHIBQueenie said, confirming that, unlike other games, "Shiba Eternity" is kid-friendly and will not require a credit card or crypto wallet for players to experience it.

"Shiba Eternity" is an upcoming CCG that features a Japanese martial arts theme where players are represented online by a Shiboshi or a virtual Shiba Inu dog that they have to protect from other fighters. There are weapon cards players can pick to attack their opponent and fighter cards with characters to carry out the virtual fight.

Last month, Shiba Inu's pseudonymous lead developer Shytoshi Kusama shared that the game would soon have tournaments and a major showdown. "We are actively working on a variety of tournaments for the game," Kusama said on the official Shiba Eternity Community Discord server as shared by former Shiba Inu Growth Breed member and social media influencer @GossipShib on Twitter.

"I don't want to get too much into how those will work, but they may take place in person or via the app. We are looking for additional sponsors and have a venue picked out for our major showdown. This will be a few months out so you have fair warning to get your decks tight as possible so you have a fighting chance to win. And yes there will be prizes," Kusama added.

"Shiba Eternity" is now available in Vietnam and Australia for testing while the game is scheduled to go live Thursday.

As of 2:14 a.m. ET Tuesday, SHIB, the native token of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, was trading up 0.88% at $0.0000112 with a 24-hour volume of $167,821,356, according to the latest data from CoinMarketCap.
