Janelle Brown is focusing on health and fitness following her separation from Kody Brown after more than 20 years of marriage.

The "Sister Wives" star, 53, gave an update on her fitness journey Monday by posting on Instagram a video montage with various images of her from over the years and one clip of her doing the squats with a 10-kilogram (22-pound) barbell atop her shoulders at the gym.

"At what point do you decide its time...time to put your health first," she wrote in the video, which was soundtracked to Birdy's "Keeping Your Head Up." "Because this has been a game changer. I'm coming for you 2023."

In the caption, Janelle said she will continue her fitness plans into 2023 and invited her fans to join her on a "health journey."

"I'm ready for you 2023!" the reality star wrote Monday. "This health journey I've been on has been incredible. The results weren't overnight, and I'm okay with that. It's all about slow and steady that wins the race. 2023 is my year! If you want to come on this journey WITH me, let's do this!"

Janelle's post came just a day after her breakup from Kody was revealed in a teaser trailer for the "Sister Wives: One on One" special released Sunday.

In the teaser, Janelle and the Brown patriarch gave their fans an update on their marriage and confirmed that they have been separated for a number of months.

"I think if we both really sat down, we'd look at each other and say, 'Really?'" Janelle said in the teaser for the episode, which airs this Sunday. "We've been separated for several months."

"Yes, we are separated," Kody told host Sukanya Krishnan. "Janelle has made it pretty clear to me that she's enjoying her life without me."

Janelle entered into a polygamous marriage with Kody in 1993, becoming his second sister wife after first wife Meri Brown. They welcomed six children: Logan, 28, Madison, 27, Hunter, 25, Garrison, 24, Gabriel, 21, and Savanah, 18.

Janelle is the second Brown family matriarch to leave after Christine, who announced her split from Kody in November 2021 after 25 years of marriage.

In the "Sister Wives" Season 17 finale, Kody said there was a "civil war" in their family. He also said that he was "looking at Janelle, wondering whose side she's on."

Janelle has maintained a close friendship with Christine since the latter opted to end her decades-long spiritual marriage to Kody.

In a previous episode of their reality series, Janelle admitted that Christine's departure left her questioning her future with the family.

"I just think we've never had divides this deep," Janelle said in an interview, People reported. "And now, Christine has left and that's obviously a very, very big departure from what our family has looked like for many years. This is like the ultimate test of our family. Can we hold it together with all of this?"

"I never thought that I would ever be in a place where I would be questioning my relationship, but the last few years, I began to wonder if we're compatible anymore," Janelle continued. "Maybe this doesn't work anymore for me. I don't know."

Kody is still in a plural marriage with Meri and Robyn Brown. But his dynamic with Meri has since become platonic.

"Sister Wives" airs at 10 p.m. EST on TLC.
