"Sisters Wives" may witness another breakup soon as one of Kody Brown's three remaining wives is now considering separating from him, a report says.

Last year, Christine Brown, 49, announced her split from Kody, 53, after more than two decades together. Now, Janelle Brown, 52, might be next to leave him after she observed the positive impact breaking up had on Christine, who married Kody in 1994.

"Janelle meant it when [she] said she would leave Kody," an unnamed insider told Us Weekly. "It’s going to happen."

The source added, "She sees how happy Christine is now that she’s ‘free’ from Kody and is strongly considering separating from him too. Christine and Janelle are very close and they have conversations about it."

Janelle revealed during last week's episode of "Sister Wives" that she felt her relationship with Kody could be coming to an end.

"I’ve had to really think. My children are almost grown and there’s not a huge necessity anymore to stay. It was a wonderful way to raise children," she said during a confessional. "With Kody and I right now, our relationship is pretty strained. And you know, it’s easy to walk away."

Kody exchanged vows with Janelle in 1993. His other wives include Meri Brown, whom he wed in 1990, and Robyn Brown, whom he married in 2010. Only his union with Robyn is recognized by law because polygamy is illegal in the U.S.

Kody and his second wife Christine confirmed their split in November 2021. "After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave," Christine wrote via Instagram at the time.

After Kody and Christine parted ways, the remaining wives reportedly reevaluated their position in the family. One source told Us Weekly that Janelle is close to Christine and is in "constant communication" with her, so Kody is "trembling and worried" that Meri or Janelle are going to leave him.

The source said Janelle has found a new home and doesn't often see Kody and Robyn. The reality star is focusing on her children instead, according to the insider.

"Her kids are her real family," the tipster noted.

Kody is the father of 18 children. Christine is mother to six: Asypen, 26, Mykelti, 25, Paedon, 23, Gwendlyn, 20, Ysabel, 18, and Truely, 11. Janelle, meanwhile, shares Logan, 27, Maddie, 26, Gabriel, 20, and Savanah, 16, with the Wyoming native.

Rumors also previously surfaced that Meri could be the next wife to leave Kody. An unnamed insider told the outlet in November 2021 that the two have "zero relationship" and are only together for TV.

Meri also hinted in a previous episode that Kody told her they would never have a romantic relationship. "No, I don’t feel like I am part of the Brown family. It’s this weird thing. Am I a sister wife when I don’t have a husband? And I have a husband, technically, but do I?... it’s weird," Meri said.

"Sister Wives" airs Sundays at 10 p.m. EST on TLC.
