The top three of the four U.S.-based carriers – Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile – have confirmed that they will be the first to bring the much anticipated Samsung Galaxy S2 into the country.

The smartphone is expected to arrive with slightly different configurations, software and hardware included. Any news about a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S2 is yet to surface.

Verizon, however, may not have the Galaxy S2 but a different Samsung phone, which is most likely to be the Ice Cream Sandwich-based Nexus Prime.

New rumors have cropped up suggesting that the Galaxy S2 will be arriving next week and will be brought by all the three above mentioned carriers, according to a pocketnow.com report.
