Stavropol, Russia attack suicide bomb

Suicide bombers targeted the district police department in Stavropol in southeast Russia Monday, according to the country’s Interfax news agency. The agency cited law enforcement sources and added that nobody besides the attackers was hurt in the attack.

According to Interfax, two militants were killed when one blew himself up near the police station in Stavropol Territory. The agency also said the attackers tried to enter the police station but could not complete the task.

Interfax said, citing the Interior Ministry in Stavropol, that nobody else was hurt or killed. The report added that the schools and hospitals in the region were being guarded.
