Kara is getting a new ally in Season 3 of “Supergirl.”

According to TVLine, the new season of the CW series will introduce the character of Saturn Girl, a kind, smart and strong-willed hero who uses her telekinetic ability to help those in need. Also known as Imra Ardeen, Saturn Girl was born on Titan, one of Saturn’s moons, and arrives on Earth to help Kara (Melissa Benoist) battle one of her biggest threats. The recurring role will be played by Amy Jackson.

In the comics, Saturn Girl is a founding member of the Legion of Super-Heroes in the 30th Century. She is married to Legion co-founder Lightning Lad and mother to twins Graym Ranzz and Garridan Ranzz. Created by Otto Binder and Al Plastino, Saturn Girl first appeared in 1958’s Adventure Comics #247.

“Supergirl” Season 3 will serve as the U.S. debut for British-born Bollywood star Jackson. According to Deadline, the 25-year-old actress started her career as a model and has since become one of India’s most prominent leading ladies. Jackson’s next Bollywood movie, “2.0” — the sequel to India’s Box Office smash, “Robot” —is set for release on Jan. 25, 2018.

Jackson is the latest addition to the growing list of series newcomers in Season 3 of “Supergirl.” She joins previously announced new cast members Odette Annable as big bad Reign; Emma Tremblay as Supergirl fan Ruby; Adrian Pasdar as ruthless real-estate developer Morgan Edge; Yael Grobglas as DC villainess Psi; Carl Lumbly as J’onn J’onzz’s (David Harewood) dad M’yrnn J’onzz; Chad Lowe as cult leader Thomas Coville; Erica Durance as Alura Zor-El; and Izabela Vidovic and Olivia Nikkanen as young Kara and Alex (Chyler Leigh).
