The Season 9 finale of “Supernatural” has left fans with some major cliffhangers (cough – Demon Dean – cough). And while we're itching to find out what the new, darker version of Dean will be up to in Season 10 of the hit CW drama, we’re even more curious to learn if and when Sam’s older brother will ever return to his normal, human self.

Well, the show’s executive producer Jeremy Carver revealed to Entertainment Weekly that although Demon Dean will play a vital role within the “first run of episodes” there is an end in sight to Dean’s demonic transformation. Phew! Just when we thought his eerie evolution was permanent.

Carver also teased that the Mark of Cain is “very much on the boys’ minds as they plot out a game plan for the next batch of episodes after Dean is healed.”

If you’re curious whether or not that means more drama will be added to the Season 10 plot then you’re in luck! Carver revealed that even if the eldest Winchester brother is healed relatively early on in the upcoming season that there would be a few twists and turns to make up for his human return in the tenth season.

“I think just when it seems like things might be starting to settle down, we will introduce a few new doosies to the world,” the EP dished.

What “doosies” do you think Carver could be referring to? Are you excited to hear that Dean will return to his human self during Season 10? Sound off in the comments section below with your thoughts.
