Sydney May recently shut down rumors claiming she caused a rift between Bryce Hall and Addison Rae.

Earlier this year, May began spending a lot of time with Hall which led to speculations regarding their relationship. A while later, rumors of Hall cheating on Rae also started doing the rounds. Amid this, a photo of May keeping her legs over Hall’s legs surfaced on social media following which people began blaming her for their breakup.

May spoke to reporters of Hollywood Fix on Friday and shut down these rumors.

"That is not true in anyway whatsoever. We were really good friends in fact, he was like a big brother to me," she told the reporters.

Speaking about the photo, she said, "The photographer pulled me in and put me at the end of the couch. If you look at the uncropped photo, you can see that both of the boys' [Hall and his friend's] knees are touching. So I put my leg across one of Bryce's legs and also all my friends."

When asked if she has spoken to Rae after that, May said, "Her and I are on good terms. She is really sweet. She is absolutely amazing."

Speaking about their breakup, May said, "It is between them. If they are happy together or apart, it is completely up to them. I am still friends with both of them. They are both absolutely amazing people."

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight earlier this month, Rae revealed she and Hall have taken a break and remain "friends."

"There was a lot of times when we were on, we were off, and it was kind of just a confusing situation. Right now we’re just kind of both deciding that there are a lot of things going on in both of our lives that we really need to focus on. At the end of the day, we’re both still wishing the best for each other, and still friends," she said.

"Who knows what will happen in the future, I’m kind of just living life day by day. We’re still young, so I’m really not too worried about anything," she told the outlet.
